Review: Zombie Highway
Your goal is to survive… but you won’t. Possibly the best tag-line to a zombie related app ever.
The aim of the game is to survive by driving down a street paved with obstacles and avoiding the attack of the walking dead.
You have different types of courses Classic and No Weapons are the more basic levels. Classic contains all levels of zombie, from your average, to your fat, and your strong. The zombies objective is to run you off the road and then devour your delicious brain. They attempt this by tipping over your vehicle and trying to generally distract you so you crash into one of the obstacles so again, they can nosh on your insides. No Weapons is the next level, which does exactly what it says on the tin, same game as the classic, but without weaponry. The levels continue to get extremely hard with the last level being titled Swamped and the expansion on this is simply “Good Luck :)”.
Through playing the game, you unlock better cars, better guns, and harder courses. It’s one of those great games that becomes so addictive that you wake up in the middle of the night chewing your pillow thinking you had just been driving on a deserted road during zombie apocalypse. A great time killer, and a procrastinators paradise.
Zombie Highway is available via the App Store for both iPhones and iPads with the Lite version free and the full version for £0.69. Android version available soon.
Even if you aren’t fond of Zombies (who is?!) it’s still worth a look!
