The Feelers Announce UK Tour

One of New Zealand’s most popular rock bands, The Feelers, are returning to the UK for a five-date tour later this month.

It has been two years since the band played in Britain and drummer Hamish Gee is excited to recapture the atmosphere of great gigs past, “we’re really looking forward to belting out a few new songs to the ex-pats and hopefully create some new Brit fans as well.”

The Feelers were signed to Warner Records in 1998. A year later, Supersystem won the New Zealand Music Awards album of the year. Since that time, The Feelers have enjoyed more radio play in New Zealand than any other domestic band or artist. In 2011, The Feelers released Hope Nature Forgives but the band play a mixture of old and new during the live show: “of course,” says Gee, “we’ll be performing all the hit songs.”

The Feelers will play the following venues:

  • 19 November, O2 Academy 2, Oxford
  • 21 November, O2 Academy 3, Birmingham
  • 22 November, Dingwalls, London
  • 23 November, The Louisiana, Bristol
  • 24 November, Great Hall 2, Cardiff University
