Special 15 anniversary Blu-ray edition for film Pi

Pi is the debut feature film that started the career of Oscar nominated director of  Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, Darren Aronofsky – and to celebrate its 15 anniversary a special edition Blu-ray is being released.

A surreal, psychological thriller Pi  tells the story of  Maximillian Cohen (Sean Gullette) a man obsessed with numbers, who has a theory that they hold the key to the answers of the universe. Trying to discover patterns in the stock market, his work gives him agonising migraines, and his former teacher advises he take a break.

When Max’s computer crashes after spitting out a 216-digit number, he at first dismisses the it – until its prediction comes true – and he realises that the number he was going to throw away could be the key he’s being searching for.



The Blue-ray contains special features including, commentary with the director, deleted scenes, theatrical trailer, original trailer and IIr2 music video.

Pi: 15 Anniversary Edition Blu-ray will be available  from 12 August.
