Rockstar Unveils The Box Art For Grand Theft Auto V

A slew of hotly anticipated games have been hitting the shelves of late, but there’s plenty of gaming kick left in 2013 yet. One of the games on many a console and PC gamer’s radar is Grand Theft Auto V, the impressively vast crime-spree sandbox which this time boasts a trio of protagonists to play as.

For many of us, it feels like we’ve been waiting on this game forever, but there are clues to its awaited release day creeping out from Rockstar’s development studio. For one thing, they’ve now revealed the cover art for the game. We’re pleased to see it retains the classic panelled imagery effect the series is known for, with that same stylised comic-book style art.

Vehicles and sultry ladies are all par for the course for GTA cover art, but with three playable anti-heroes on offer in this game, each protagonist also makes an appearance. Franklin, Michael, Trevor… take a bow!

We’re anxiously awaiting the day we see this very artwork lining the heaving shelves of our local game shop. But until that anticipated day dawns, we’re just glad to see the classic Grand Theft Auto box art style is still represented in the fifth game. What’s your opinion on the game’s cover art?
