Pledge to make this Atari film a reality

World 1-1 documentary poster

Daryl Rodriguez and Jeanette Garcia are the creators of World 1-1, the first in a series of documentaries on the history of video games, and they have recently launched a Kickstarter appeal to fund its creation.

The first feature-length film focuses on Atari and features interviews with Nolan Bushnell, David Crane, Warren Robinett, Dona Bailey and many more as well as plenty of archival footage.

The money raised through the project will go towards travel costs and equipment, and pledges are vital as World 1-1 simply cannot be made without support. As the Kickstarter page states, “this is all or nothing. If we do not reach our $15,000 goal, we will not receive any funding and our project will not become a reality.”

Backer rewards include a DVD or Blu-ray of the film, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and even the chance to be interviewed in the documentary yourself, plus loads more.

The project is due to end on 6 November, so head over to the Kickstarter page now to make your pledge to help this eye-opening documentary become a reality.

If World 1-1 is successfully funded, the estimated release date is late 2014
