Man of Steel game announced for iDevices

Warner Bros. will be releasing the new Man of Steel game, developed by Phosphor Games Studio, on June 14 on the AppStore.

Released alongside the new film (see our post on this here), the 3D fighting game allows the player to brawl both on the ground and in the air.

2 different game modes are available – Story Mode which is touted to give console graphics a run for their money, and Survival mode, with swarms of enemies that get progressively harder.

Users can post their scores on the online leaderboard, and can unlock skills and suits by earning XP.

Greg Ballard from Warner Bros. said, “The Man of Steel game allows Superman fans to extend the movie experience and game on-the-go with their favorite characters from the ‘Man of Steel’ film.”

The Man of Steel game will be released on June 14 on the AppStore, available for £1.99 for iPhone and iPod touch. A HD version is also available for £2.99 for iPad.
