Latest episode of Assassin’s Creed DLC announced
We’re heading back to the American Revolution now, as the third and final chapter of Assassin’s Creed – The Tyranny of King Washington has been announced. Known as ‘The Redemption’, the last instalment is set in New York and and follows on directly from the previous downloadables, mixing together a perfect blend of false history, special powers drawn from the main character’s native heritage and the chance to kill lots of baddies by jumping from a height while clutching a knife.
The screen shots look alright, and I’m sure if you have already bought the first two, you will no doubt buy the third. The story arch leads the main character into the King’s fortress, as he slashes his way to the tyrannous monarch. For anyone who has not yet purchased the two previous downloadables, Ubisoft have popped together a nice little bundle, which will be available on all the usual platforms at an average price of £23.99.
Most content is available almost immediately, with the only delay being the release for the Wii U, which will be held back until 16 May 2013. So go ahead, unpack your killing blades and unleash hell. The king is dead. Long live the king.
