How I Live Now trailer shows love in a modern war torn Britain

See this trailer for new film How I Live Now based on the book by Meg Rosoff, and starring Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, The Lovely Bones) and is directed by award winning Kevin Macdonald (Marley, The Last King of Scotland)

The film is about Daisy, an American girl attitude sent to stay at her cousins farm England over the summer. Initially unhappy to in her new surroundings, she slowly warms to her cousins – 17 year old Edmond, 14 year old Isaac and 8 year old Piper  – and the idyllic farm, which they have to themselves whilst her aunt is engrossed in her role as a peace negotiator. Intrigued in particular by Edmond, Daisy soon finds her herself falling madly in love with him, and he with her…

However, the romantic summer is suddenly blown apart when a 21st century world war erupts, and they are violently separated. Daisy must now embark on a dangerous journey through this new war torn world in order to be reunited with the boy she loves.

How I Live Now  is out in UK cinemas on 4 October.
