Here Comes The Men in Black Game

Gameloft today announced a licensing agreement on the Men in Black franchise and will launch the official mobile game in synch with Men in Black 3 release later this year.

“Gameloft is ecstatic to have the chance to team with Sony Pictures Consumer Products in working with such a successful franchise as Men in Black on the Men in Black 3 mobile game,” said Karine Kaiser VP Marketing and Licensing for Gameloft. “We see this as a great opportunity to provide a new and immersive way to engage with the films’ iconic characters and distinctive universe.”

Gameloft has worked closely with Sony’s team to bring a mobile freemium game that will please not only the fans of the Men in Black franchise, but also all the casual players due to its ease of use and free access. Players will not only get to interact with a selection of faithfully inspired characters and aliens of the Men in Black franchise but will have access to special equipment ranging from the Neuralyzer and Gravity Bombs, to the famous Noisy Cricket as well.

Mark Caplan, VP Consumer Products for Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Inc., added, “Sony is thrilled to be collaborating with Gameloft on the creation of the new Men in Black 3 game. Together, we have developed a game which will bring many hours of interactivity by giving fans keys to the expansive universe of Men in Black. The mobile game is an important part of our marketing for the film.”

The Men in Black 3 game will be made available for iOS, Android devices and feature phones at the time of movie release worldwide, on 25 May 2012.
