Heath Ledger: 5-year Anniversary

Five years today we saw the unexpected fall of actor Heath Ledger, just a short few months before the biggest role of his career was set to be released. Here, we are going to take a brief look at just a few of his best known roles.


The Dark Knight

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight (2008) was released just months after his death, in his most famous role as The Joker opposite Christian Bale as Batman.


Brokeback Mountain

Brokeback Mountain (2005) where Ledger played Ennis Del Mar starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal where the two won a number of awards.


10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You (1999) one of Ledger’s first major releases where he plays Patrick Verona, a misunderstood teenager, alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Julia Stiles.


A Knight’s Tale

A Knight’s Tale (2001) where Ledger plays a peasant squire, that wants to create a new identity for himself as a Knight.
