Guardians of Middle-Earth coming to PC

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have today announced the forth coming PC release of their Lord of the Rings Console game Guardians of Middle-Earth.

The game which was released last year to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is due for release on 29 August 2013 on PC via Steam.

Alongside the announcement a trailer showing off game play of the PC version was also released.

Guardians of Middle-Earth is a Lord of the Rings themed MOBA game which sees two teams of five battle for control of the map and eventual destruction of the opponents. Playable characters include Frodo Baggins, Gandalf and Sauron.

The game will cost £14.99 for the basic edition which will include 6 playable characters, plus alternative skins for them. Other characters can be unlocked via the use of the in game currency earned during play or can be bought for Mithril edition costing £60.99 which includes all 36 champions.

Guardians of Middle-earth will be available for distribution through Steam and other digital retailers on August 29.
