Ghostly British noir film The Terror out on DVD 10 June

The Terror is a black and white British noir style film, adapted from a play by Edgar Wallace who was a successful and prolific crime and mystery writer during the twentieth century, it has now been transferred from film onto DVD.

The films is about two criminals Joe Connor and ‘Soapy’ Marks, who for ten years have been plotting to take revenge on The Terror, a mastermind who has laughed at the police and the public. An old associate of theirs, The Terror double crossed them, letting them get sent to Dartmoor without a share of the bullion they stole in a daring raid.

Connor is the first to arrive at Monk’s Hall Priory, a guest house that is supposedly haunted by the ghost of a hooded monk – and whilst there is an uncanny presence about the place, no-one suspects that The Terror is in their midst.

The Terror is available on DVD on 10 June.
