As Kickstarter Pledge Ends Unrealised, eJay Pure Remains Determined

It was a great surprise for old school computer-music tinkerers when we discovered that the eJay franchise was gearing up for a new instalment, but unfortunately it seems the Kickstarter goal of £150,000 hasn’t been met.

As the campaign drew to a close earlier today, £50,000 had nevertheless been dedicated to the cause; enough for Wired Productions, who has spearheaded the resurrection of the software, to remain optimistic about the challenge of getting a touchscreen-enabled eJay to market.

The new eJay Pure is designed to factor in touchscreen controls, social media and other modern ideas, and Wired Productions’ own managing director, Leo Zullo, seems determined that the story not end here.

“I’d like to personally thank everyone who showed us such tremendous support during the Kickstarter campaign. From the press that covered it, to the DJs who supported it over Twitter, and most importantly to the community and fans who offered us feedback or pledged their support. eJay will return – keep watching this space.”

Here’s hoping eJay Pure can find a way into our hands soon!
