Angry Birds Trilogy Confirmed for Xbox 360

Great news for fans of animal cruelty and mass deconstruction, the mobile mega-hit, Angry Birds will soon be hitting the Xbox 360.

That’s right, the original Angry Birds, plus Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio are being bundled on a disc and released for the first time on a games console. They will undergo a complete re-design plus and HD make-over to ensure that they look as crisp on your TV as they do on your smartphone.

The Angry Birds Trilogy will also include new cinematics, new reactive backgrounds and more importantly Kinect motion support. Full details on how Kinect integration will work are not yet available, but it’s probably safe to assume that using the controller will be the preferred option for couch-slugs like me.

The Angry Birds Trilogy will be released this Christmas on the Xbox 360. Sadly no mention of Angry Birds In Space as yet, but no doubt it will be available as DLC at some point in 2013. Thoughts?
